WIN A WSOP bracelet is every poker player’s dream, and some have experienced it multiple times. Per Brian Yoon is one of them. The American all-rounder showed off his skills in Event 14, the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship, and reached the milestone of his fifth career bracelet.

Yoon won a whopping $311,433 in prize money out of 131 entrants and won himself, the largest portion of the staggering $1,209,000 prize pool. Money aside, Bryan’s five titles put him in a very prestigious position. He is the 33rd player in history to win at least 5 bracelets.

He is part of the “Pentas” group along with luminaries such as Eli Elezra, John Juanda, Shaun Deeb and Adam Friedman. Yin’s recent record has been impressive. His first career bracelet came in 2013, so he’s averaged one Tour title every two years during that time.

The top three cashes came in no-limit hold’em, all high rollers ($663,727, $633,341 and $1,094,349). The last two cards, like this one in Seven Card Stud, show that Americans are also ready for the mixed game. He won his fourth career bracelet in the limited 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw in 2021.

“Honestly, I’m not trying to chase bracelets or anything, I just want to be in a tournament and of course it feels great to be 33rd and get fifth (bracelet). I’ll take it and see Let’s see what happens in the future,” said the champion.

The five-time crown came after a cheeky final table. Yoon defeated Dan Shak heads-up and faced the likes of Maxx Coleman, Ben Yu, Benjamin Diebold and Max Hoffman in the FT.
